1. The Big Merino
The Big Merino is one of Goulburn's most famous landmarks, standing at nearly 50 feet tall by 65 foot long. Visitors can climb to the top for amazing views of the surrounding landscape. The attraction is open seven days a week and is situated just off the Hume Highway entrance to the city.

The brewery is situated on Braidwood Road.

St. Saviour's Cathedral is an impressive cathedral that's also one of Goulburn's must-see historical venues. The cathedral dates back to the 1880s and boasts amazing Gothic-style architecture. Visitors can take guided tours throughout the week.

2. Goulburn Courthouse
The Goulburn Courthouse is another fantastic historical venue that's steeped in history. The courthouse was built in the 1880s and is a perfect representation of Australian colonial architecture. The courthouse is in the city square and is open during the week.

3. Riversdale Historic Homestead
Riversdale Historic Homestead is a beautifully-preserved 1830s home and a prime example of Australian colonial architecture. The house features original furniture and fittings, making it one of the most authentic historical landmarks in the area. The Homestead is situated on Towrang Road in nearby Goulburn North.
